New Folders, and Musicians are now in the group!

Please understand that this is a very specific group and we don't really post so many journals or spam you with too many deviations, so please take the time to read because this is important for all members, not only for those working on games.

So there are major changes in the group gallery folders. We renamed some folders, deleted some others, and created new ones that should work better for you. New folders are:

- Heta Games MUSIC

- Casual Flash games, short games, etc.

- Horror games

- Fantasy and Sci-Fi RPG Games

- M.U.G.E.N. Hetalia

- Projects development help, teams recruitment

Let's talk about the Music folder first. Music is very important for videogames, and many of you have been asking for a way to share musical resources in the group. Obviously, we can't allow you to submit tracks directly extracted from Hetalia CDs or similar, but you can share your own arranged sheets and tracks, original songs used in your hetalia games, national anthems, etc. For more specific info, read the gallery description that you will find inside the folder, on the left side hetalia-videogames.deviantart.… Also, please don't spam and/or harass the musicians with silly requests and more requests. They are not in the group to compose a whole soundtrack for each of your games... they are here submitting deviations to inspire Hetalia games just like most other members.

Now, about the M.U.G.E.N. Hetalia folder... M.U.G.E.N. is a 2D fighting game maker. It's designed to be used by people with little or no programming experience, but with patience to learn. M.U.G.E.N is free for non-commercial use. Ask in the official website if you need a commercial license (find the official web and download the program inside the folder hetalia-videogames.deviantart.… )  We don't have nothing there yet, no one submited MUGEN stuff to the group even though many of you are wshing for a Hetalia Fighting game... well people, it's time to start, so I made the folder to rmeind you that MUGEN exists! Ha ha ha. We want to start a MUGEN Hetalia project with everyone later in July, when we finish reforming the group and stuff. A project that would belong to everyone in this group, not only to a team. But you can start sharing resources when you want!

Now, what about the other new folders and the renamed ones:

There was a lot of confusion on when to use the "Development and asking for help" folder and the "Fangames promotion" folders, so we changed them. People who wish to share ideas but who isn't in a project, go to this folder and reply to the people asking for help. As for Game developers, from now on, use the "Projects development help, teams recruitment" folder to post deviations asking for new team members, asking for help to get ideas for games, asking for opinions on concrete matters like batle systems, etc. Apart from that, game previews and demos go in the Horror, Fantasy/Sci-Fi or Flash gams folders, depending of the genre obviously XD Remember that you can't submit a bunch of screenshots, in special if they don't show something that really represents the game looks or mechanics. You can have about 4 screenshots at the same time, plus some artwork in-game -the rest of the artwork can go to the fanart gallery-. If you want to submit new screenshots, let us know which of the old ones you want to take out of the group ^^ As for DEMOs, only the newest version of the demo can be in the group, and the demo needs to show enough of the game, such as the battle system, part of the story, graphics... please don't post demos that have 2 minutes of game with only text, you are confusing people like that, and they may lose interest in your project if they are playing every version of the demo only to get more text.

WE WON'T ACCEPT YOUR SUBMISSIONS IF YOU DON'T POST TO THE PROPER FOLDERS OR IF YOU IGNORE OUR RULES AND STANDARDS. As we said, we are reforming the group so the rules and stardards aren't very clear yet, for now just follow what we already said. We will post clear, short rules with better English when we decide a good way to manage all of this ^^
